Bomb - A gift of cigars sent by one member to another, often by surprise.  If you are bombed, you can thank the bomber privately or publicly (unless they wish to remain anonymous), but it can be viewed as inappropriate to publicly disclose what they sent you.  Also, do not ask to be bombed.

BOTL - Brother of the Leaf

DC - Delivery Confirmation.  When sending cigars through USPS you should always request Delivery Confirmation and send the DC number to the recipient.

FOG - F'n Old Guy.  The FOGs are the long time established members of the board.  They've seen it all and are very protective of the community.  They will embrace and mentor newbies who follow the rules, and they will call out and expose those who don't.

ISOM - Island South of Miami

Pass - A big group trade.  Each pass will have it's own rules that pass host will make clear to everyone.  Some are first come first serve, some are invite-only.

PIF - Pay It Forward

​

ROTT - Right Off The Truck.  This is often in reference to a young cigar.
